Lead Massage Therapist at Well & Being Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Danielle Fuselier, has been in the business for over 13 years. Her experience in massage has given her the knowledge and know-how to be able to treat each guest individually and uniquely depending on what their bodies need. Danielle likes to incorporate Eastern healing practices into each service in order to enhance the guests experience and overall wellness after the massage. She has a very holistic approach when it comes to massage and has shared a few of the different products and tools that are a must in her spa kit.
To start the service, Danielle likes to use a combination of essential oil blends to help relax the guest, as well as burning white sage in the room. The burning of sage fills the room with an intense aroma and resets the clients mind for a fresh start before the session.
Often times, Danielle’s clients are busy on the go people who rarely shut off or take time to be present. The use of wind chimes in the room transports the client into a more relaxed and present headspace.
Danielle uses a variety of different sound therapies during a session. The deep, booming vibrations from a gong help focus the client’s attention, petite Tibetan cymbals provide a soft tinging sound to induce calm relaxation and finally, mediation aids made of several different metals are used in combination with a singing bowl and mallet that allows the client to feel vibrations move through their body.
